"Ageing well is about quality of life. Research holds the key to unlocking the possibilities of ageing well."

The Ageing Well Foundation, which is part of the National Ageing Research Institute, focuses on helping people to age well so they can continue to enjoy the best possible quality of life.

The Foundation recognises and celebrates the fact that people are living longer. However, it wants to ensure that more people continue to maintain their health, dignity, independence, mobility and independence as they age.

In its work, the Foundation is committed to increasing awareness and raising funds to support NARI’s vital medical and scientific research into the causes and consequences of ageing and accompanying social issues.

The ageing process can have enormous consequences for older people and their carers. It is a stage of life that will touch almost everyone in some way.

NARI’s research is challenging the way people think about ageing and it is also raising their expectations about ageing well.
